Meag has performed as Roy and swung on as Mike for the opening night of A Chorus Line, was part of the ensemble in The Sound of Music, and featured as the Thief in 42nd Street at Theatre By The Sea. Most recently Meag appeared as the Bellboy in Titanic at North Shore Music Theatre. They are represented by Gray Talent Group and based in both NYC and New Hampshire as they settle into this touch and go life!
The Boston Globe
"Meag O’Meara takes one for the team as the understudy for the role of Mike (to have been played by Mario Rizzi), the character who delivers the first of those musical theater moments in the spotlight... seamlessly blends into the ensemble and keeps pace with the others during the show’s grand finale, “One.”" - Bob Abelman |
The Boston Globe "Every musical is chock full of fresh-faced ensemble members...And while every one of them works hard at blending in, several have talent that can’t help but call them out. It would not be surprising to find Haley Holcomb and Meag O’Meara featured in future productions here and elsewhere." - Bob Abelman |

About
Meag received early Vaganova and ABT ballet training from Koltun Ballet Boston, Vlad Roje, Doug Davis, and Ruth Mayer. After a short break during which they trained in ballroom and were a dance captain for Newsies, Meag auditioned and went on to earn their BFA in Musical Theatre from The Hartt School while taking additional ballet and graham classes with dance performance majors. Thanks to their fabulous support system and teachers at Hartt, especially Tracey Marble (voice) and Ralph Perkins (dance), they are a quietly confident triple threat performer who blends into both song and dance heavy ensembles in both male and female identifying roles.
